September 2008

Howdy. Hope you're all doing well.

The trails are dry and dusty. Yet everyday the unspoken Sweep & Pee crew waters and preps the lines.  That water hose saves us from summer. Thank you sweepy people, thank you.

. Thanks to James T. Whip at LIQUOR BIKES, Dirdee Dave, and Greg Dickinson for the photo submissions.

Competitions for trophies and prizes! Ridiculous Party Sponsorship.

Prizes are given out to people who participate/ interact. Trophies are given out to winners of events. If you ain't riding, you might be posing.

Gracious American Sponsors include-
Bench Brothers Productions (-the locals), Hoodward, Empire, T1. Mutiny, Liquor, V-Club, Hoffman, DK, ORP, Standard, Solid bikes, DIG magazine

Contests judged by the locals! In the event of a contest dispute, said action must be replicated to be resolved.

If you win a trophy, keep the damn thing until next year-how do you loose a 5 foot trophy?

Participation & good natured Heckling encouraged, no fighting tolerated! Disputes settled on the TB Court honorable Judge Santana presiding.

Bring food for the BBQ, friends, and a smile on your face! Please keep pets and small kids on a leash. Do not get us busted for doing something stupid, if you want attention ask for a hug.

We will have at least one line lit up after dark-party is on!

Photographers/Video -for your own safety please stay out of the way.

No fireworks please, water balloons are acceptable with fair warning.

Allsport. Everyday, Every sport. Before we were here, after we're gone.

Sparky is back. Keeping it Red!

Everybody is happy.

The irony of it all, a sober Sunday high on Whiskey.

Our fastest local, D. E. Fresh. Always time for style.

First try PUMP track on the commemorative Chris Wallman hallride.

Noodles would like to thank his sponsors EMPIRE BMX & TERRIBLE ONE.

Kicker

First try at the sketchy Denise Parking Garage rail. Bad approach/low ceiling. He took it!

2nd try

3rd was a charm.

Greg Dickinson recently moved to town with a few others from up North. They seem to fit right into the local naturalization process.

Greg has photo skills, as demonstrated:

Mike L.=1' Tabe/3rd set RIGHT LINE @ 9th St, ATX

Kareem Tabletop over the DIRTSPINE

Old Noodles=No' X-up

Mike L.

KC on his new Standard.

Santana recently went SKYDIVING.

Under $200. Local approved adventure!

Dird E. Dave and the crew went to Bastrop a while back. Enjoy Dave's photos...

TEAM RED     2% of the world's population

PUMP Track is great. There are alot of people paying dues over there and it shows. The place is growing in the right ways. A good group of people. Keep on Pumping.

Pump track will wear you out.

This dog is chill. Thought it was called Plump Track.

Josh pops the wall on break from digging. Of all the Pump Track Local's, I think Josh is my "Pump Track Hero"- sing along...

Be respectful of the diggers/trails. No lip tricks/kick turns on the dirt jumps. It tears the lips up and that ain't cool.

Moonlight Cruise 2008. Preparation-stock up!

Hell Yeah Domingo!

Getting cleaned up for a night out.

Bench Brothers for life!

Vintage ride- S. Styler Style

Random crazy custom bike.

Diggers in Arms!

This year's cruise was fairly uneventful. Rain, a lack of fireworks and rowdy people are my best guesses as to the calmness of the cruise.

Turnando slap

Turnando is one of our newest locals. He brings a kooked attitude and a big shovel to the table. We are stoked to have diggers, we have enough riders already!

Twhip Photo:

Thanks to everyone who recently helped get old Slacker to Left line running after a 5 year siesta.  AGAIN, Please never tear down an existing pile of dirt for any reason. Go dig the damn dirt the hard way like everyone else. Big Al represents!

Lil' Kris makes it through first try. This nibbler line is long and fun. We hope to have this line dialed by Halloween.

Mike L. Bogn

Please don't mess with the wildlife- Baby Nighthawk as fondled by Grizzly Dave.

Money bet

I'm cutting that damn branch! Clicked Rick Crossman.

Joey clicked-tongue bite

TEAM RED- on the gas and kicking ass.

Slasher is a sensitive man with a soft touch and a big beard.

He has a very good style about him. One foot tire grab over WHISKEY.

Our favorite international local- Sponge. This man always makes the trail session fun. T-whip photo:

My Sponge shot- flash snatch courtesy of LIQUOR BIKES

Andy has been training daily for this year's jam.

Twhips photo:

I like Kareem, he is a smooth dude. As Johnny Cash said; "If that's your woman, better tie her to your side".

Life isn't easy for locals in training. Turnando digs while on "talking restrictions"

Should you ever be so lucky to see a Texas Squirrel fight, you will be amazed. Unbelievable speed. These 2 made about 15 high speed laps around the trunk of my tree. The sound was undescribable. I barely got a shot off.

Rob always has good advice.

We'll see y'all at the trails!

Thanks for visiting 9th Street!    Now go Dig...and pack with a 2x4-stop breaking flat heads
